Synthetic belt for roller shutters

Instructions for replacing the belt:

Remove the cover closing the box and manually roll the roller shutter onto the roller.

Keep stop the roller shutter by inserting a stop in the side rails.

Photo 1 - Once the belt to be replaced has been completely unwound, remove it by cutting the knot that secures it to the pulley. Thread the new belt through the belt loop and into the pulley cut making a knot.

Photo 2 - Pull the belt and tension the knot. Lower the roller shutter bearing in mind that the belt must hang over the roller shutter by about 50cm.

Photo 3 - Unscrew the roller shutter plate from the wall. Remove the old belt from the spring drum and insert the new one into the belt guide.

Photo 4 - Rotate the roller shutter drum in such a way as to fully load the spring inside it. </ P >

Photo 5 - Fasten the belt by holding the drum still, taking care not to let it go suddenly.
